Sending Love

Have you seen the newest release from Divinity Designs (previously Our Daily Bread Designs)?!  It's pretty awesome and features two new product lines:  embossing folders and stencils!  The new stamp sets are just lovely and the two new large dies I'll be using for years to come!

For my first project, I layered red cardstock onto the card base.  For the background, I used distress oxide ink with the new Petals Mixed Media Stencil; sponging around the edges.  This beautiful bible verse from the Fruit of the Spirit set was stamped on white cardstock cut with one of the Pierced Oval dies.  The basket of apples image was copic colored and also in the Fruit of the Spirit set.

My next project features the new Festive Favors Dies.  I cut red cardstock and one of the patterns in the Ephemera Essentials paper pad using the box die then used the heart die to cut the opening.  I placed chocolate kisses in a cello bag and adhered to the box.  The pretty flowers and leaves are also included in the Festive Favors Dies.

Stop by the Divinity Designs blog to view the entire release complete with video and special bundle offers!

Pink & Main New Release: Happy Couple

Tuesday, January 22, 2019

The new Pink & Main release is here and hopefully you've been lovin' the projects created with the newest goodies being shared by the design team!

For my card today, I layered black cardstock and one of the gorgeous patterns in the new Watercolor Foil paper pad then adhered to the card base.  For the background accent piece, I layered light yellow cardstock with one of the patterns in the Sunrise paper pad.  To highlight the image, I cut black cardstock using one of the Stitched Top Note dies and layered a circle cut with one of the Stitched Circle dies (which is sponged with blue ink).  The adorable image and sentiment are from the new Happy Couple stamp set and coordinating dies!

Hope you'll follow us via email, Facebook and/or Instagram so you won't miss any projects the design team shares...not to mention, you'll be among the first to hear about deals and specials!

Glittering Snowflakes

Sunday, January 20, 2019

Brrrr!  Snow storm came through our area yesterday and left a LOT of glittering snowflakes...about 5" worth and cold, cold, cold temps!  The best thing to do today was to just stay inside and play in my craft room.  Like I need an excuse :)

For my card, I started by making a stencil template from the Snowballs Cover Panel and used glitter paste to create the glittery background.  Using the Layered Snowflake die from Reverse Confetti, I cut Baby Blue and Navy cardstock then added lots of bling!  If snowflakes looked like this, I could actually handle 5" of them!

Thanks to these challenges for the inspiration..

Magical Surprises

Hooray!  The new Pink & Main January Release is here and it really IS magical!!

I created sweet gift wrap and tag using several new items.  The pretty carousel horse is from the new Sweet Carousel stamp set and coordinating die.  There's a new word die and coordinating stamp set, too - Magical!  And this new 3x3 Bow Die, cut from one of the new patterns in the Watercolor Foil paper pad, is fabulous and so perfect for dressing up gifts and tags!

The tag itself was cut from light green cardstock and cut with one of the Stitched Rectangles #2 dies.  As a coordinating accent, I cut shiny gold circles and added them to the package.

And there are two new product lines...surprise!!

Saturday Coffee Cafe - Like You A Latte

Saturday, January 19, 2019

Yay – I’m so glad you stopped in to the Saturday Coffee Café!  Grab a fresh brew and enjoy hanging out for a bit!

It seems as though I meet a new crafty friend every day, mostly on line, but we 'meet' nevertheless.  The great thing is that every crafter I met, I really like! Overall, this is such an amazing, uplifting, compassionate, kind and considerate community and YOU are all a blessing to me.  So, for all my sweet crafty friends near and far, this Valentine is for you!

For my card, I used A Cuppa Love stamps designed for STAMPlorations by our own Becca Cruger!  I first stamped the bean heart and blended a light pink ink over top then used clear Wink of Stella to add a bit of shimmer to the hearts.  I cut the front of the card base shorter in front in order to add the hearts to the edge and have the black stripe pattern paper placed on the inside edge of the card base peek out.

I layered red cardstock and heart pattern paper on the front (before placing the hearts).  I stamped the sentiment on white cardstock cut with Pink & Main Stitched Oval Dies.  For the cups, I paper pieced different pattern papers and copic colored the red hearts; popping up the XO heart on the one ‘to go’ cup.
