Pink & Main September Release: Snow Sweet

Sunday, September 16, 2018

The Pink & Main September Release is filled with super cute winter and holiday goodies!  Hopefully, you've been enjoying the sneak peeks so far and are excited for Release Day on September 20th!

My card today features the new Snow Sweet set with coordinating dies (and it IS so sweet!)  To start, I cut kraft cardstock using the Basket Cover Die and adhered to the card base.  Cutting teal and white glitter cardstock with one of the Stitched Circle Dies, I created a backdrop for these darling snow people from the Snow Sweet set with coordinating dies.  The snowflakes in the set were silver embossed and I placed Silver Glossy Dots in the centers. The sentiment was white embossed on black cardstock.

Be sure to stop back tomorrow for more peeks from the upcoming release!

Latte Pumpkin Patch

Saturday, September 15, 2018

Happy Saturday and welcome to the cafe -- I'm so glad you stopped by!

What could be better than a Latte Pumpkin Patch on a beautiful fall day?!  Maybe a bonfire and cozy blanket to wrap up in...while enjoying a yummy pumpkin latte (or eggnog latte, my personal favorite!)

For my card, I sponged some Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink on the top base then layered a strip of pattern paper from Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Petite Fall.   All the images and leaves are from Lawn Fawn:

So Thankful (pumpkins)
Love You A Latte (coffee cup)

And the cute sentiment is from Newton's Nook Autumn Newton stamp set.

Gift Box of Cards

Friday, September 14, 2018

This post is a bit bitter sweet today as it's my last one being on the Dies R Us Design Team.  I've really enjoyed my time here and loved using dies carried in this store.  It's been a wonderful experience and a wonderful opportunity!

My project today features some super fun Lawn Fawn products!

First, I used the Gift Box Dies to cut two colors of cardstock for the top and bottom of my box.  It was so easy to assemble by folding on the scored edges and adhering the ends together.
Next, I used the corner dies cut from blue cardstock and adhered to the corners box top then layered blue cardstock and a pattern design from Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Chill paper pad for the top.

The band and bow dies - also included in the Box Die set - were used to cut from another pattern design from the from Perfectly Plaid Chill paper pad.

Once the box was created, I made several cards to place in the box.  Each card measures 3 1/2" x 5".

I used the following Lawn Fawn products to create the cards:

 Toboggan Together Stamps & Dies
Gift Box Dies (words)

This project would make a cute gift for a friend or Secret Santa!

Come join in all of the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog.  There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store.  For your convenience, all the important Dies R Us links are provided below.

Harvest Blessings

Saturday, September 8, 2018

Happy Fall...well, almost.  Like many across the states, it feels more like the beginning of August (hot and humid), even though the leaves know otherwise as they are starting to change a bit.

I just can't get enough of Reverse Confetti's new Fall Foliage set!  For this card, I used the Big Stripe Cover Panel cut in Premier Polar White cardstock to adhere to the card base.  The center was sponged with Tumbled Glass distress oxide ink.  The Fall Foliage leaves were gold embossed, watercolored with Tim Holtz alcohol inks then spritzed with Hero Arts White Shimmer Spray

Thanks to these challenges for the inspiration!

Reverse Confetti September Release Day and Blog Hop!

Yippee!!  Today is Reverse Confetti's September Release Day and Blog Hop!  Hope you'll hop along with us and be inspired by the wonderful projects the Design Team and very special guests are sharing today!

For my first project, I created a 'messy' watercolor piece using the new Fall Foliage set.  Instead of placing it on a card, I used it as a cover for a notebook/journal.  I've been wanting to do bullet journal and now I'm excited to get started on it with this one!

I love non-traditional Christmas colors!  I chose several bright ones to create this card using the new Holiday Gnomes which I layered the images on one of the Pierced Round Top Layers Confetti Cuts.  For the left-side, I stamped Triangle Trees to create a patterned panel!

And the last project today - a goody 'box' card!  I used the new Box & Tag Creator to make a 'box' by double scoring the sides and bottom of the large die and folding into the box shape.  A great way to add treat to a card!

These adorable images are from the Frightening Friends stamp set and coordinating die; the sentiment is from Boo Yea!

In case you missed my Countdown to Confetti posts, here are the other projects I created with this new, fabulous release!
