Color Throwdown Challenge #503

Wednesday, July 25, 2018

Today starts a new Color Throwdown Challenge!  This is also the last week of my Guest Designing with CTC -- it's been sooo much fun and I'd like to thank the team for having me this month!!  Now, onto this week's challenge...

I love this color combo and was tempting to do a Christmas in July card as these colors would be perfect, but I haven't yet gotten the bug to get started on Christmas cards.  However, with a few tweaks, I think I can turn it into one - what do you think?

For my card, I used several really cute Reverse Confetti products.  I started with a piece of Lime Green cardstock which was placed behind Stormy cardstock cut from the Striped Frame Cover Panel.  For the center, I cut some Premier Polar White cardstock and stamped the envelope images and sentiment.  These adorable mice, mailbox, letters and sentiment were stamped, die cut and copic colored using the Mice Mail stamp set and coordinating dies.

I'm excited to share my card in these fun challenges, too!

Pink & Main Butterflies

Monday, July 23, 2018

One of the most wonderful things about summer is seeing a glimpse of a beautiful butterfly!  For some reason, it's a bit uncommon to see too many butterflies, but when I do, it's like a miracle of nature and I watch it in awe!

Thanks to the new Pink & Main Butterfly Cover dies, there were plenty of the beauties fluttering around my craft room :)  For my card, I cut a dark gray cardstock using the Butterfly Cover die and placed it on a white card base.  I then cut different colored cardstock with the larger of the butterfly body dies and placed in the center of the cut butterflies.  Using one of the separate butterfly dies that come in this set, I cut those from cardstock and flanked the sentiment (which is from the You Can Fly set).

Saturday Coffee Cafe - Coffee Jams

Saturday, July 21, 2018

Happy Saturday!  So glad you stopped into the café where slipper-wearing is always welcome!

Minus the curlers, this is me on a Saturday morning!  The best Saturdays are those where I can stay in my jams all day and do what I want when I want to…ahh!  It really is the little things that make me happy 😊

Today, my card features an adorable image and sentiment from Pink & Main called Need Coffee (isn’t that the truth?!)  I had fun paper piecing her robe, bunny slippers and coffee cup with pattern paper from Doodlebug Cream & Sugar6x6 paper pad.

What’s your favorite thing to do on Saturday?  Whatever it is, I hope you get to enjoy it today!
