Espresso My Thanks

Thursday, March 30, 2017

With just one day left for the Spring Coffee Lovers Bloghop, I just had to create a card with one of my favorite coffee sets:  Reverse Confetti Be A Barista and to say 'THANK YOU' to Amy Tsuruta and Chaitali Narla for all their hard work on the hop!!

For my card, I began with Reverse Confetti Drop Cover Panel Confetti Cuts from the new March release.  The cup images in the Be A Barista set are perfect for paper piecing!

Happy Hopping!

Hot Concoction

Wednesday, March 29, 2017

The excitement continues as we enter into Day 5 of the Spring Coffee Lovers Bloghop!  Hope you've been having a "hopping" great time so far!!

For my card, I used an adorable stamp set from Paper Smooches:  Hot Concoctions.  The images are perfect for paper piecing or coloring.  I paper pieced using Pebbles Spring Fling 6x6 paper pad.  The sentiment is from Verve Stamps Coffee Helps set.

Happy hopping!

My Daily Little Helper

Yep...I agree with this sentiment for sure!  When those little things happen in life (like I run out of an ingredient while trying to make a particular dish), a cup of java eases the frustration, puts things in perspective...and I just call for take out!

For my card, I played around with Distress Oxide Ink pads to create the backdrop and color in the elements.  The plate/cup/spoon are from one of my favorite coffee sets from Concord & 9th: Let's Chat. The sentiment is from another fave from Verve Stamps: Coffee Helps.

Cheers!

Can't think of a better beverage to "cheer" to than a cup of coffee (ok, mimosas would work, too!)  But then we'd all be playing in the Mimosa Lovers Bloghop instead of the COFFEE Lovers Bloghop!

For my card, I used this cute coffee cup die cut from Lil Inker Designs: Coffee Cozy.  The "cheers" word die is new from My Favorite Things.

Hope you've had a chance to join the fun at the Coffee (and Tea) Lovers Bloghop -- there's only a couple more days left!

Tea-riffic!

Tuesday, March 28, 2017

Hope you've had a chance to join in the excitement of Spring Coffee (and Tea) Lovers Bloghop - it's been TEA-riffic

For my card, I used several Tim Holtz products.  The backdrop was cut from Mixed Media Thinlits, the cups were cut from pattern paper using Sizzix Bigz Tea Time and I added the spoon from Idea-ology Silverware.  (The sentiment and pattern paper is retired from Stampin Up.)

I'm also entering my card in these wonderful challenges:

Good Morning Birdies

Hehe...even the birds love their morning coffee!  How 'bout you?!  Even if you aren't a coffee or tea drinker, you'll want to stop by the Spring Coffee Lovers Bloghop to see the hundreds and hundreds of incredible creations folks have linked up!!

I made this card for the Paper Sweeties March release using You Warm My Heart.  It was one of my personal favs and reminds me that spring is coming!  Those little birdies holding their morning coffee just make me happy!

I'm excited to submit my cards in these fun challenges too:

Coffee and Sprinkles!

Sprinkles make everything festive!  And since we're still celebrating our love of coffee/tea at the Coffee Lovers Bloghop, I thought it appropriate to make a festive sprinkles card!

For my card, I started with a colorful pattern paper from Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Rainbow Petite Paper pack.  The cup, from Simon Says Stamp What's Brewing set, was paper pieced and I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops to look like 'coffee'.  I colored these darling donuts from Lawn Fawn's Donut Worry set and added Papertrey Ink "Sprinkles" word die cut.

I'm happy to be entering my card in these fab challenges, too:

A Cup of Kindness

We're almost a half way through the Spring Coffee Lovers Bloghop and I have just been wow'd by the amazingly talented folks out there in blogland!
For my card, I used an adorable, new Paper Sweeties stamp set: Tackle Life One Cup at a Time!  I love those sweet tiny cupcakes and coffee cups -- eek!  Emma is enjoying a cup of java and sporting her cute new outfit from this set, too!  These pretty flower shaped Cupcake Sprinkles sequins and Sugar Sprinkles seam binding add the perfect touch.

Paper Sweeties is one of the amazing Super Sponsors of the Spring Coffee Lovers Bloghop and is offering a $25 gift certificate to the boutique!

All you need to do is enter a Spring themed coffee and/or tea project HERE.  Can't see what YOU create!

The hop runs from Friday, March 24, 2017 (6:00 am Pacific) - Friday, March 31, 2017 (11:59 pm Pacific).  Winners are drawn for all the Super Sponsor prizes from the linkups (not based on commenting).  Winners will be posted on the Coffee Lovers blog Sunday, April 2nd.

Feel Better Soon

Monday, March 27, 2017

My beverage of choice, by far, is coffee, but when I have a cold or am over stressed, a cup of tea definitely does the trick...it's so soothing!  I think it also reminds me of my grandmother who loved her tea!

Tea or coffee...either way we're celebrating the lovers of both with the Spring Coffee Lovers Bloghop!

For my card, I used this fabulous die from My Favorite Things: Bedside Comfort; the teapot is from Paper Sweeties You Warm My Heart die set and the teacup is from my stash :)
