 Scallop Circles Sweet Cuts

 

My card today features several wonderful Paper Sweeties products.  I started by stamping the words from the Coffee Planner Series set in different colors.  Then I stamped the loopy/dash images from the new Handmade for You set and placed some images from the Coffee Planner set inside.  Abigail is a girl after my own heart -- she's thinking of coffee and loves that rich brew just like me -- and looks so smart in her Tackle Life One Day At A Time outfit!

Thinking of You

 Hi, Friday...I've been thinking about you all week!  My grandmother always told me not to wish my life away, but I so look forward to Friday :)  One reason is I get to share a new project with all of you so thank you for stopping by Drive By Crafts!

 There's nothin' like getting a little inky and the new Ranger/Tim Holtz Distress Oxide ink pads make it even more fun!  When mixing ink colors they don't "run" into each other looking like, well, mud.  Instead, the color stays put so you can keep layering colors on top of each other.  Adding a little spritz of water here and there adds great dimension!

 For my card, I created a background with Distress Oxide ink pads/ink.  Then, taking Neat & Tangled's Heart of Gold die, I cut a piece of acetate behind it so the sequins (Drive By Crafts Peacock Feather Mix) stayed in place.  The pretty feathers and sentiment are from the new Altenew Faithful Feather set!

Sweet Strawberries

 Next to Spring, my favorite time of year is Summer.  One of the best parts of summer is the yummy fruit available especially berries!  They make it so much easier to eat more healthy, too :)

My card was created using a Papertrey Ink tag die.  I cut one out of  red gingham pattern paper and the other I watercolored with green and yellow inks.  The strawberries, leaves and flowers were made from a die from Impression Obsession and the sentiment is also from Papertrey Ink.

Sailing Away

 Enjoying our beautiful summer weather and although I don't have a sailboat, I can certainly think about cruising on the water in the bright sunshine on one!
