Here are my sneak peeks featuring Elegant Florals stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts AND The Most Beauty stamp set...

For my first card, I layered Midnight cardstock, Sunshine cardstock and one of the new designs in the Cue the Confetti paper pad to a Premier Polar White cardstock base.  The tag was created using Topped Off The Tag die with the Squared Off The Tag Topper die both cut from Midnight cardstock.  I placed a piece of Premier Polar White cardstock in the center and stamped one of the lovely sentiments from the new The Most Beauty stamp set.  The flowers are from the new Elegant Florals stamp set and coordinating dies (and they really ARE elegant) which I copic colored.

There are so many possibilities with the Elegant Florals set as you have seen as you've been hopping along!

I created two different looks using the same Elegant Florals stamp and layout.  This first one, I stamped the flowers and then covered them with masking fluid.  Once dried, I sponged Bumblebee ink over the card and then blended Rust ink around the edges and removed the masking.  I cut Rust Cardstock with one of the Stitched Squares to frame the card.  To finish, I stamped one of the sentiment stamps on Premier Polar White Cardstock cut with the oval in the Jam Jar dies and sponged the edges with Sand ink.

Then for the 2nd card, I followed the same technique as above, but sponged the rose images in Bumblebee ink and used Midnight Cardstock cut with one of the Stitched Squares for the frame.

Dies R Us - Stained Glass Summer

Friday, June 15, 2018

Hope you are enjoying the summer so far!  We've had gorgeous days - lots of sunshine, nature is in full bloom and warm weather.  My stained glass card reminds me of bright sunshine shining through the window and the fabulous colors outside!

My card features the inlaid die technique.  I started with cutting black cardstock with Sue Wilson Design Stained Glass Collection - Butterfly die.  This piece acted as the 'frame work'.

I applied adhesive to a piece of cardstock and placed it behind the Stained Glass die cut.  Then, I cut several colors of cardstock with the die.  Placing the different colored cardstock die cuts into the black frame was like 'coloring' with cardstock -- so fun!

Once I filled in all the openings, I popped up and layered the colored piece onto a piece of white cardstock cut with one of the Memory Box Pinpoint Rectangle dies and adhered to the base.

To finish, I used Karen Burniston Greetings and cut the 'thinking of you' word from gold shiny cardstock.
