Get Well Soon

With the weather being so hot and humid here, colds and allergies have been affecting so many people.  We need some cooler temps and some rain to clear out all the germs :)

For my card, I layered a shimmery champagne-colored cardstock onto the base.  I then used the Linked Circles Cover Panel to cut Dark Roast cardstock and layered that on top for the background.  The leaves were created using the Fall Foliage stamp set and coordinating dies and are watercolored then sprinkled with gold embossing powder.  As a backdrop, I cut Sand cardstock using the Grid Stitched Tag die and stamped with a sentiment in the Sentiment Essentials stamp set.

Thanks to these challenges for the inspiration:

  3. Kathy, this is fabulous! Love that background cover panel and the way that your floral spray goes beyond the edge of the card. The stitched grid over the sentiment is a great finishing detail. Thank you for joining us again at As You See It Challenge.
