Merry Christmas and welcome to my Saturday Coffee Café!
All the preparations are just about done at our house. Tonight, we’ll attend service where we’ll end worship with candlelight and singing Silent Night as our pastor plays guitar (it gives me chills just thinking about it – so beautiful!) Then, our family will enjoy tons of yummy hors d’oeuvres, play games and watch a Christmas movie!
For my cards today, I used a new set from STAMPlorations: Winter Mug. I love this big mug and have lots of plans for it :)! The first card, I paper pieced with some fun plaid pattern paper. The My Favorite Things Stitched Fishtail Frames die is a fav “go to” die.
On the second card, I got a little inky. Stamping on watercolor paper, I watercolored the mug then stamped the little images. Love, love, love Stampin Up’s Cable Knit Dynamic Impressions Embossing Folder – the results are almost 3D. I’ve used it a lot! Then, I added some “rustic” looking elements with the "wood" pattern paper, mini clothespin, burlap trim and gold button.
May you and yours have a very blessed Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year. See you in 2017!
