Leavin' On a Jet Plane

It's hump day - yay!  I have a trip coming up for work and will be gone for over a week so I guess I've got travels on my mind!

My card was created with Lawn Fawn's Bon Voyage set (can you see the shimmery silver cardstock peeking out of the plane windows?) and Papertrey Ink's sentiment and banner die.  I created the background pieces by taking cardstock and rubbing a few different Distressed Inks (a gray, light brown and white).  I then splattered some white paint around the card.

Thanks to these challenges for the inspiration!

  3. I love the sense of fun and vibrancy you've created. That swooping banner creates a sense of movement and the splatters add fun to an already lively scene. I like how you've layered the cloud and the sun. It's a great card! Thanks for joining us this week at As You See It.
