Smooth Sailing

It was a gorgeous day today and it would have been "perfect" if my view was that of sail boats on the water!  Since I live in a landlocked state, I hit my craft room instead and put my little daydream cardstock!

I chose Paper Smooches Anchors Aweigh stamps/dies and Stampin Up DSP Maritime.

Thanks to these challenges for helping my thoughts come to "life"...

I think my style of card is "Freestyle Collage"

(I'm all out of Midnight Muse :(... so I had to use Navy)

Use Rope or Twine

  6. Doesn't it feel great when you put down one of those 'creative ideas' to paper? This is definitely one of those times! I love all the wee details you have so expertly blended together...the knotted twine, the embossed anchor perched upon the cool navy flag tag, and my favorite - the popped up sailboat! Thanks so much for choosing to share your card with us this week at the Card Concept Challenge. I sure enjoyed my visit to your blog :)
